"The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well."

There are approximately 7 Hours and 17 Minutes left until the most epic conclusions for a generation of people: Harry Potter.  Where am I to began with it?  I've grown up with this book series.  I remember countless of times staying up late in night, rushing to finish a Harry Potter book before I went off to bed, and then dreaming about the boy-who-lived defeated he-who-must-not-be-named.  I remember being a little disappointed on not receiving my letter to Hogwarts when I turned 11.  I remember being scared to death while watching the first Harry Potter movie on TV, when Quierrell started taking his turban off towards the end of the movie.  I remember being ecstatic when my aunt ordered Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for me when I was India, and when my uncle took me to see Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix that same summer.  I also remember being furious with my cousins and brother for reading the last page of the 7th book out loud to me when I had just started reading the book (I didn't talk to them for a day or two).  I remember my friends in India laughing at me for my obsession with Harry Potter, but it didn't matter to me at all.  I'm glad Harry Potter has been part of my life.

I guess I should thank Emilie Lenz for introducing me the magical world of Harry Potter.  She was the one who got me addicted to the series.  Without her I wouldn't have been able to discuss the books, go to movie premieres with her, or have countless debates and arguments about whether Snape was evil or not (BTW- I was TOTALLY right.  Snape is not evil. HA EMMA. :P).
I should also thank Kushal Bhatia, my cousin.  Without his dislike of the Harry Potter books, I wouldn't have been able to acquire my own copies of the first three Harry Potter books.  I will still convince you how Harry Potter is an amazing series, and you just have to let the magic run through you to understand why I love this series.
My parents don't understand why I love Harry Potter.  I guess I truly don't understand why I love Harry Potter either.  It might be the lessons I've learned, the characters and how they make me laugh, or just the story line in general.  I will always remember the times I've cried over the deaths of Sirius, Dumbledore, and Dobby.  I will always remember the times I've laughed over the Riddikulus (haha. Sorry, I couldn't resist) things Luna Lovegood has said.  I will always remember how the golden trio has grown up, and how they have matured.  I will always remember the final words of the last book.  I will cherish these memories and definitely pass them on to the next generation.
These 4175 pages and 1209 minutes, are something I just don't want to say goodbye to.
"As Hagrid had said, what would come would come and he would have to meet it when it did."
This is not the end, it is just the beginning of a new adventure.

"A good snapshot stops a moment from running away." ~Eudora Welty

Prom 2011=epic.
I’m so glad I went.  It was a great experience and I had a TON of fun!  From the dancing to dinner to picture, everything was amazing.  I felt like a princess all dolled up in a gorgeous dress and all dressed up.  Truly, prom is definitely an experience of the lifetime I’ll NEVER forget.

"Hey! That guy on the Princeton Review book looks like Partha. Sorta." ~Amy Wen

So here I am working thoroughly (haha. yeah right.) on APUSH for the AP test that is coming up tomorrow.  I'm staring at the cover of my Princeton Review: Cracking the AP U.S. History Exam 2009 Edition, and something strikes me, and it REALLY bothers me.  Why do all the people on the review books looks so HAPPY!  I mean they are studying for an AP test, shouldn't they be stressed, worried, or concentrated. They should NOT be happy about reviewing for an AP test.  On top of (almost) EVERY review book I have there is a person there, and they just are so HAPPY!  Their secretive smile makes me want to think, what is going through their minds?  I think their smile is telling me, "I know that you aren't actually going to study and review for this AP test."  The people on the cover make me want to throw the book across the room and never look at it again (which btw I just did with my Tindall, or George as some people I know like to call him).  I know I should be actually reading the review book and not obsessing over the person on the cover, but I really I think I'll learn something while staring at the cover of the book, rather than preparing for my APUSH test.
btw here is the book the title is referring to:

"What's that saying: The show's gotta go all over the place, or something?" ~Finn

I. Love. Glee.

“My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there” ~Charles F. Kettering

What is today?  Today was Friday.  Today was April 29th in the year 2011.  Today was the day I took the calculus final.  Today was the day I had a Spanish IPA.  Today was the day I learned in psychology.  Today was also a VERY important day for seniors: College Decision Day.  Today was the last day for seniors to choose their destination for the next year, two years, four years, or six years.  Today was they day which determined their future.
I was on Facebook earlier today reading all the colleges the seniors have added on to their information.  Some have decided to go to the U of M.  Some have decided MIT.  Some have decided UIC.  I've seen a wide variety of colleges and places where people will be heading off to next year.  This has made me stop to think.
Where will I be next year?
What will I be deciding next year?
Will I get into the colleges I wanted to get into?
Will I make the right decision for me?
What kind of future will be laid out for me?
How is the future going to look?
All I can say at this very moment is that I'm scared.  I'm scared to be a senior in a couple months.  I'm scared to have been in school since the past 11 years.  I'm scared for my grades.  I'm scared for tests.  I'm scared to let the future come.
Is it wrong to be scared?  I don't think so.  En mi opinion, I think that almost every student goes through the same fears that I am having now.  I think that it is natural to be scared of the future, however as Marcus Aurelius said, "Never let the future disturb you.  You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present."  Thus, I shall live have to learn to live in the present and try not to worry about the future, because deep down under I know that the future will work out right towards the end.

“The only thing you live to regret are the risks you didn't take” ~Zachary Scott

I've regretted many things in the past...
I've regretted chickening out while zip-lining...
I've regretted not trying harder in certain classes...
I've regretted making certain people disappointed in me...
I've regretted in being a shy person when I was little...
I've regretted being scared of heights...
I've regretted of being embarrassed to dance in front of my cousins...
I've regretted drifting away from some friends...
     I've regretted quitting piano...
     I've regretted quitting dance...
I've regretted the risks I never took...
I've realized I've regretted doing so many things, that I KNOW that I want to turn this around, which is why I'm going to make a bucket list of the things I want to do before I die.  If I ever lose my way in life, I know that I will have something to guide me.  Sure I will still regret a few things here and there, but I'm going to try to do my best.
You can check out my bucket list here: http://ayeshabhatia.blogspot.com/p/my-bucket-list.html

"A picture is worth a thousand words." ~Napoleon Bonaparte

My cousins are here at the moment visiting, which is reminding me of all my other cousins who I don't see that often...

I hope to see you soon! :)
